Junk Removal in Millville, NJ
Millville’s curbside program takes one bulk item per collection day. That is fine for a recliner. It is not a plan for a basement, a rental turnover or a parent’s house.

Cleanouts in Millville
Residential and estate cleanouts
When the job is the whole house, it is a cleanout, priced for the entire property. See residential cleanouts and estate cleanouts. Millville’s glassmaking history means older homes sometimes hold glassware and collectibles worth a second look, so ask about an estate sale before anything is hauled.
Rental turnovers
One bulk item a week does not work when a new tenant is due on the first. We clear units in a single visit. See property cleanouts for landlords and realtors and commercial cleanouts.
Basements, garages and attics
See basement cleanouts, garage cleanouts and attic cleanouts.
What the City of Millville Collects
Millville’s trash and recycling are collected by the Atlantic County Utilities Authority. According to its published rules for the city:
| Item | How Millville handles it |
|---|---|
| Bulk furniture, mattresses | One bulk item per household on the regular collection day. |
| Carpet, construction debris | Not accepted as bulk. |
| Metal and appliances | Public Works collects during the last full week of each month. Limit two appliances. |
| Tires | Last Friday of each month. Limit two. |
| Electronics | Not collected. Drop off at the Public Works Complex, 416 S. 15th Street. |
| Yard waste | City compost facility, 999 Cedarville Road. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 7:15am to 2:45pm. |
| Hazardous waste | Cumberland County collection events only. |
Questions go to Millville Streets and Roads at 856-825-7000, extension 7390. Rules change, so confirm before relying on them.
The county landfill is another option if you own a pickup: the Cumberland County Solid Waste Complex at 169 Jesse Bridge Road is open weekdays 7:30am to 3:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am to noon, with a $5 minimum disposal fee per load.

How Pricing Works
Volume, labor and disposal set the number: how much of the truck your items fill, how hard they are to get out, and what they cost to dispose of responsibly.
About disposal surcharges: mattresses and box springs, tires, anything containing refrigerant, televisions and CRT monitors, pianos and safes carry a per-piece fee at the facility. We pass those through at cost and name them in your quote before you agree.

Why Millville Calls Roadside Cleanouts
We are Steven, Debbie and Gary: a family business, not a franchise. The person who quotes your job is connected to the person who shows up. No subcontractors, no surprise fees, and the job is not finished until the space is swept. More on our about page. If we have worked for you, we would be grateful if you would leave a review.
More than one item? Do not spread it over two months of collection days. Call or text (848) 221-7034 and it is gone in one visit.
