Cleanouts in Washington Township

Downsizing and residential cleanouts

When long-time owners move to something smaller, a residential cleanout clears the whole house in one visit, and our downsizing guide helps with the sorting that comes first.

Estate cleanouts and estate sales

When a family home has to be cleared after a death, we handle estate cleanouts carefully and at the family’s pace. If the house holds furniture, tools or collectibles with resale value, an estate sale first can offset the cost. See estate cleanouts in Gloucester County for how the process runs locally.

Basements, garages and attics

See basement cleanouts, garage cleanouts and attic cleanouts.

Commercial cleanouts

Offices, medical suites and retail along the Black Horse Pike (Route 42). See commercial cleanouts.

What Washington Township Offers Residents

The township runs several drop-off options for residents. According to the county’s listing for Washington Township:

  • Trash and recycling are collected weekly, Monday through Friday depending on your zone.
  • Electronics can be dropped off on McClure Drive, across from the police station, on Saturdays from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Residents only.
  • Bulk items are handled through a Saturday resident drop-off.
  • Cement, wood and rechargeable batteries also have drop-off options through Public Works.
  • Hazardous waste is not accepted. That goes to Gloucester County’s household special waste days.

Public Works is at 856-589-0523. Ask what is being accepted before you load the car, since rules change.

Notice what all of those have in common: you bring it to them. That works if you own a truck, the item is already on the ground floor, and Saturday morning is free. It does not help with a sleeper sofa in a finished basement, a full garage, or a house that has to be empty before a closing.

How It Works

  1. Tell us what is there. Call or text (848) 221-7034, or email roadsidecleanouts@gmail.com. Photos help.
  2. Get an upfront estimate. Free, no obligation.
  3. Pick a time. Seven days a week, 7am to 7pm.
  4. We load, sort and sweep. You point, we carry. Usable items are routed to donation or recycling wherever we can place them.

How Pricing Works

Three things set the number: volume, labor and disposal. How much of the truck your items fill, how hard they are to get out, and what they cost to dispose of responsibly.

About disposal surcharges: mattresses and box springs, tires, anything containing refrigerant, televisions and CRT monitors, pianos and safes carry a per-piece fee at the facility. We pass those through at cost and name them in your quote before you agree.

Why Turnersville Calls Roadside Cleanouts

We are Steven, Debbie and Gary: a family business, not a franchise. The person who quotes your job is connected to the person who shows up. No subcontractors, no surprise fees, and the job is not done until the space is swept and you have looked at it. More on our about page. If we have worked for you, we would be grateful if you would leave a review.
