County Resources

  • The landfill: the Cumberland County Solid Waste Complex, run by the Cumberland County Improvement Authority, is at 169 Jesse Bridge Road in Deerfield Township. It is open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm and Saturday 8:00am to noon, with a $5 minimum disposal fee per load. Phone 856-825-3700.
  • Electronics drop-off: the Authority lists 16 municipal recycling drop-off centers across the county that accept electronics, used oil and antifreeze. Hours vary by town.
  • Household hazardous waste: collection and document-shredding days are held at the Solid Waste Complex for county residents with ID. The last 2026 event was in September, so check the Authority’s calendar for 2027 dates.

A landfill open every Saturday morning with a low minimum makes do-it-yourself hauling a realistic option here, if you own a pickup and can load it. The carrying, the driving and the unloading are still yours.

How It Works

  1. Tell us what is there. Call or text (848) 221-7034, or email roadsidecleanouts@gmail.com. Photos help.
  2. Get an upfront estimate. Free, no obligation.
  3. Pick a time. Seven days a week, 7am to 7pm.
  4. We load, sort and sweep. You point, we carry. Usable items go to donation or recycling wherever we can place them.

How Pricing Works

Volume, labor and disposal set the number: how much of the truck your items fill, how hard they are to get out, and what they cost to dispose of responsibly.

About disposal surcharges: mattresses and box springs, tires, anything containing refrigerant, televisions and CRT monitors, pianos and safes carry a per-piece fee at the facility. We pass those through at cost and name them in your quote before you agree.
