Who This Is For

Tenants moving out

The movers took what is going to the new place. The old couch, the mattress and the pile in the closet are not going.

Families

A parent has moved to assisted living or passed away, and the lease ends at the end of the month.

Landlords and managers

A tenant left things behind and the unit has to be ready for the next lease. Check the rules on our eviction cleanouts page first.

Students

End of the semester, end of the lease, a house full of furniture nobody is taking home.

Why Apartments Are Their Own Kind of Job

  • Stairs. A third-floor walk-up turns every piece into a carry. In Philadelphia rowhome conversions the stairs are narrow and they turn.
  • Elevators and hallways. Larger buildings often require the freight elevator, set move-out hours and protection for common areas.
  • Parking. There is rarely a driveway. The truck may be half a block away.
  • The curb is not yours. In many buildings tenants cannot leave bulk items out, and landlords often bill for anything left behind or dumped by the bins.
  • Deadlines. Leases end on a date, and city bulk pickup runs on its own schedule. Philadelphia, for instance, allows two large compactible items a week with regular trash.

Tell us about stairs, elevators and parking when you call. Access is most of the price on an apartment job, and knowing it upfront is how the quote stays accurate.

How It Works

01

Photos and Details

What is in the unit, which floor, stairs or elevator, and where a truck can park.

02

Upfront Price

Free estimate, with any per-piece disposal fees named before you agree.

03

We Carry It Out

You point at what goes. Nothing needs to be bagged, boxed or brought downstairs.

04

Swept

The unit is left empty and broom-swept, ready for your final walkthrough.

How Pricing Works

By volume and access. A studio with a bed and a couch is a small load. A furnished two-bedroom is closer to a full truck. Upper-floor walk-ups and long carries take more time than a ground-floor unit with parking at the door, and that is built into the quote rather than added afterward.

About disposal surcharges: mattresses and box springs, televisions and anything containing refrigerant carry a per-piece fee at the facility. We pass those through at cost and name them in your quote before you agree.

More on our pricing page.

Usable Furniture

If the furniture is in good shape, tell us. Usable pieces go to donation wherever we can place them rather than to disposal.

Apartment Cleanout FAQs

How much does an apartment cleanout cost?

Apartment cleanouts are priced by volume and access: how much of the truck the contents fill, which floor the unit is on, and whether there is an elevator and nearby parking. Estimates are free and upfront, from photos and a description.

Will you carry furniture down from a third-floor walk-up?

Yes. We remove furniture and other items from upper-floor walk-ups, elevator buildings and basement storage. Stairs and access are factored into the quote.

Do I need to bag or box anything first?

No. Items can stay where they are. You point out what goes and we carry it out.

Can a landlord hire you to clear a unit after a tenant leaves?

Yes, once the landlord has the legal right to dispose of what was left. Tenant property is covered by a notice process under state law, so confirm that step first.

Can you clear an apartment the same week?

Often, yes. We run seven days a week from 7am to 7pm, and most apartments are cleared in a single visit. Call or text (848) 221-7034 with your move-out date.

Ready to Get It Gone?
