Both programs run on appointments and fixed days, and both start at the curb. For one old dryer that is manageable. For a basement, a garage, or a move-out with a closing date, it is slow.
Hazardous waste, such as oil-based paint, solvents and pool chemicals, goes to Gloucester County’s household special waste days. The county Solid Waste Complex, where some of those are held, is just down the road in South Harrison Township.

About disposal surcharges: mattresses and box springs, tires, anything containing refrigerant, televisions and CRT monitors, pianos and safes carry a per-piece fee at the facility. We pass those through at cost and name them in your quote before you agree.
